Yelp Conversions API Destination
Send server-side conversion events to Yelp to measure how your Yelp Ads campaigns drive purchases, leads, and other conversions.
Use this page to connect Ours Privacy to Yelp. Each conversion you forward is attributed against your Yelp Ads campaigns, so you can measure how Yelp drives purchases, leads, and sign-ups — and keep that attribution and return-on-ad-spend reporting working when the browser pixel can't fire.
Before you start
- A Yelp Developers app, which gives you a Client ID and an API Key.
- Your app activated for the Conversions API. Send your Client ID to your Yelp success representative and wait for confirmation that the API Key is enabled — until then, events are rejected.
Setup
- Sign in at Yelp Developers and open your app.
- Copy the API Key.
- Confirm with your Yelp success representative that your app is activated for the Conversions API.
- In Ours Privacy, add the Yelp Conversions API destination and paste in your API Key.
- Configure your event mappings, and connect at least one identity field (such as email, phone, or IP address) so Yelp can match conversions to ad views.
Event types
Map each of your events to one of Yelp's conversion event names — purchase, lead, add_to_cart, checkout, view_content, and more. The full list is shown in the mapping UI. Any event name that isn't on Yelp's standard list is sent as a custom event.
A note on eligibility
Yelp positions the Conversions API for larger businesses, typically those with multiple locations. Smaller advertisers may not see attribution reporting even when events are delivered successfully. Eligibility is set by Yelp, not by this integration — check Yelp's current guidance if you're unsure whether your account qualifies.
