Send completed orders from your non-Shopify store to Trybe to measure creator and video attribution.
Use this page to connect Ours Privacy to Trybe and send completed orders for creator and video attribution.
Before you start
- A Trybe brand account and a non-Shopify store.
- The Trybe Universal Pixel installed with a verified tracking domain.
- Your private Orders API Key from Trybe.
- Checkout data that includes the visitor ID generated by the Trybe pixel.
This destination complements the Trybe pixel. Keep the pixel installed to capture visitor activity. For Shopify stores, follow Trybe's Shopify setup in its Brand Portal.
Setup
- In the Trybe Brand Portal, open Integrations → Universal Pixel.
- Configure your tracking domain and select Check DNS. Follow Trybe's pixel and orders guide to finish pixel setup.
- Copy the private Orders API Key, which starts with
sk_. The Pixel Code and Store ID are different values. - In Ours Privacy, open Destinations, add Trybe, and paste the key into Orders API Key.
- Connect your completed-order event and configure its mapping. Use a stable Order ID, the actual Order Value and Currency, and the Trybe Visitor ID carried through your checkout.
- Publish your changes and verify order delivery in your event activity. Trybe queues accepted orders for attribution processing.
Capture the Trybe Visitor ID
Ask your checkout developer to pass the ID returned by window.trybe.getVisitorId() with the completed order. It is also available in Trybe's ugc_vid cookie, or ugc_vid_{storeId} when a Store ID is configured.
Map that value to Trybe Visitor ID. An Ours Privacy visitor ID or customer email cannot replace it. If you send Email, Trybe receives the original email and hashes it on receipt; you can omit it in your mapping.
Supported activity
Send completed purchases through this destination. Page views, product views, add-to-cart activity, and custom browser events remain part of Trybe's pixel setup. Reuse the same Order ID when resending an order so Trybe can recognize duplicates.
