Zoho CRM Destination
Connect Ours Privacy to Zoho CRM to create and update Leads or Contacts from your tracked events, keeping your CRM in sync without writing code.
Use this page to connect Ours Privacy to Zoho CRM. Once connected, the visitor data you collect can create or update Leads and Contacts in your Zoho org automatically, so your sales and marketing teams always see the latest contact information.
Before you start
- A Zoho CRM account with permission to create and edit records in the module you want to sync (Contacts or Leads).
- A Self Client / Server-based application in your Zoho API console, with CRM scopes granted and a refresh token generated.
- The data center region where your Zoho org is hosted (for example, US, EU, or India).
Setup
- Sign in to the Zoho API Console and create a Self Client (or Server-based application).
- Grant the CRM scopes that allow creating and updating records (for example,
ZohoCRM.modules.ALL), then generate a refresh token. - Copy the Client ID, Client Secret, and refresh token from your Zoho app.
- In Ours Privacy, open Destinations, add the Zoho CRM destination, and paste the three credentials.
- Choose your Data Center (the region matching your Zoho org) and the CRM Module to sync into — Contacts or Leads.
- Map your fields. Email is required and is used to match existing records, so a returning person updates their record instead of creating a duplicate. Last Name is required by Zoho, and Company is required when syncing to Leads.
Note: Your data center must match where your Zoho org lives. A refresh token from one region will not authenticate against another, and the connection will fail.
Custom fields
To send fields beyond the standard ones, map an Additional Fields object whose keys are the Zoho Field API names (for example, Lead_Source or Mailing_City) — not the display labels. You can find a field's API name in Zoho under its module field settings.
