Step-by-step guide to integrate Ours with Zendesk for creating support tickets while prioritizing privacy and HIPAA compliance.
The Zendesk integration allows you to create support tickets in Zendesk directly from Ours Privacy. This integration enables your team to automatically generate tickets based on events and user interactions tracked through Ours.
Integration Capabilities
The Zendesk integration supports the following action:
- Create Tickets: Create new support tickets in Zendesk using Zendesk's Tickets API. This allows you to automatically generate tickets based on events, user actions, or specific conditions configured in Ours Privacy.
Requirements
- A Zendesk account
- Zendesk API token or OAuth credentials
- Zendesk subdomain (e.g.,
yourcompany.zendesk.com)
Setup
- Navigate to your Zendesk Admin Center
- Go to Apps and integrations > Zendesk API
- Enable Token Access and generate a new API token
- Copy the API token and your Zendesk subdomain into your Ours integration settings
Data Mapping
When configuring the integration, you can map Ours events to Zendesk ticket fields. The integration will:
- Create a new ticket with the specified subject and description
- Assign priority, type, and tags based on your mapping configuration
- Associate the ticket with an existing requester or create a new one based on email
