Iterable Integration
Iterable is a customer engagement platform that helps brands deliver personalized messaging across email, SMS, push notifications, and more. With this integration, you can send events to Iterable to trigger automated campaigns and update user profiles for personalized experiences, enabling data-driven customer communication and lifecycle marketing.
Requirements
- An Iterable account
- API key from Iterable Settings
Setup
- Navigate to your Iterable project and go to Integrations > API Keys
- Create a new API key with the appropriate permissions (Server-side key recommended)
- Copy the API key into your Ours Privacy integration settings
- Select your Iterable region (US or EU) in the settings
Data Mapping Actions
The Iterable integration supports two main action types that you can configure in the mapper UI:
Identify Actions (Profile Updates)
Use Identify actions to create or update user profiles in Iterable. This is useful for:
- Setting user attributes and properties
- Updating user information
- Preparing profiles for email campaigns and cross-channel messaging
