Allowing the Scanner Through a Firewall
If your site sits behind a firewall, WAF, or another IP-based access rule, those protections can block the scanner before it reaches your pages — which leads to incomplete results or failed scans. Use this page to let the crawler through.
Static egress IP
The Web Scanner crawls from a single, stable IP address that does not change between scans, so you can add it to your allowlist once and leave it in place. To get the IP address, contact support@oursprivacy.com.
User agent
The crawler also sends a consistent user-agent string that identifies it as the Web Scanner. If you need to identify our traffic by user agent, contact support@oursprivacy.com and we'll share the current value.
