Audience Builder
The Ours Privacy Audience Builder allows you to create, manage, and sync audiences based on visitor properties and event activity. You can define the properties and events that constitute an audience, and sync these audiences to destinations already connected to your CDP.
Key Features
- Define Your Audiences: Create audiences based on users who have specific properties or have completed some event.
- Preview Your Audiences: See a sample of matching visitors and an estimated total count before exporting, so you can validate your criteria.
- Export Your Audiences: Export your audience as a CSV formatted for Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or general use. Whether you are looking to hydrate data into your CRM or add an audience to an advertising platform, you can use your data across various software applications.
- Combined Filtering: Use both visitor properties and event behavior conditions in the same audience builder for precise segmentation.
- Data Freshness: Event data is available for querying within 15 minutes of collection.

Using Audience Builder

Easily Defining Property or Event Based Queries

Previewing an Audience
Once you have defined your audience criteria, click Preview to run a sample query against your data warehouse. The preview panel displays:
- Estimated visitor count — an approximate number of visitors matching your criteria.
- Sample visitor table — a table of matching visitors showing email, first name, last name, city, state, country, first seen, and last seen.
Use the preview to verify your filters are targeting the right group before exporting. You can click Refresh Preview at any time to re-run the query with updated criteria.
Exporting an Audience
To export your audience, click Export CSV in the header. You will be prompted to select an export format:
| Format | Columns | Hashing | Use Case |
|---|---|---|---|
| All Fields | All visitor columns | None (raw values) | Internal analysis, CRM uploads |
| Google Ads | Email, Phone, First Name, Last Name, Country, Zip | SHA-256 per Google Customer Match spec | Google Ads audience targeting |
| Facebook Ads | Email, Phone, First Name, Last Name, City, State, Zip, Country, DOB, Gender | SHA-256 per Facebook Custom Audiences spec | Facebook/Meta audience targeting |
After selecting a format, click Export. The CSV will be generated and automatically downloaded to your browser. Download links remain valid for 24 hours, so you can re-download the same file if needed.
The Export CSV button is only enabled when your audience has a name and at least one filter rule defined, and all changes have been saved.
