Ours Privacy Integration with Invoca

This guide will walk you through integrating Ours Privacy with your Invoca account. You'll learn how to track calls and call conversions seamlessly while supporting privacy-focused analytics for privacy-conscious applications.

Invoca Integration

For advanced tracking and to access detailed event data, you can set up a custom integration with Invoca. Follow these steps:

1. Create a New Source in Ours Privacy:

   • In the Ours app, navigate to Sources and create a new source.
   • Select Invoca from the options and copy the Webhook URL provided.

2. Configure Webhooks in Invoca:

   • Go to your Invoca account and navigate to Integrations > Custom Webhooks.
   • Click New Webhook and select Post-Call as the webhook type.
   • Paste the Ours Privacy Webhook URL as the destination URL.
   • Configure the webhook to fire for the events you want to track (typically all incoming calls).
   • Set the data format to JSON for optimal compatibility with Ours Privacy.
   • Save your webhook configuration.

   Note: Post-Call webhooks are activated immediately after a call ends and provide access to in-call conversion data and Signal insights, making them ideal for tracking completed calls and conversions.

3. Submit a Test Event:

   • Make a test call to trigger a webhook event and ensure data is sent to Ours Privacy.
   • Check the Ours Privacy app for pre-populated variables from the event payload.

4. Map Extra Event Fields:

   • Use the field mapping interface in Ours Privacy to map Invoca event data to Ours Privacy attributes.
   • The default integration has all important properties mapped. But, you can map custom fields into Ours Privacy if you wish.

Payload Preview

If you are customizing your Invoca integration, you can use the "Preview Data" panel to view the latest payloads sent from Invoca to Ours Privacy.

Attribution Tracking for Ad-Based Conversions

When users call your site directly from Google or Meta Ads, you can stitch those call events with downstream conversion events (like bookings or membership starts) and send attribution data back to your Ads destinations. This enables proper attribution tracking for call-based conversions.
