Install the Ours Privacy Web SDK on GoDaddy Managed WordPress, cPanel, or VPS hosting, and what to know about the Websites + Marketing builder.
Use this page to install the Ours Privacy Web SDK on GoDaddy. Which section applies depends on which GoDaddy product hosts your site, so identify that first.
GoDaddy's hosting products all give you the page <head>, so the install is the standard one. The Websites + Marketing builder works differently, and there is a note on it at the end.
GoDaddy Managed WordPress
Fully supported. GoDaddy Managed WordPress is standard WordPress with GoDaddy hosting, so follow the WordPress guide.
One GoDaddy-specific note: Managed WordPress enables server-side caching by default. If tracking works when logged in but not for visitors, clear the cache from the GoDaddy dashboard after installing.
GoDaddy cPanel and VPS Hosting
Fully supported. On ordinary GoDaddy hosting you control the HTML, so add the snippet from the Install Ours page to the <head> of your templates. Follow whichever platform guide matches what you run.
Websites + Marketing and Airo
GoDaddy's website builder, sold as Websites + Marketing and generated by Airo, does not expose a site-wide <head> field, and the HTML section you can add to a page renders inside a sandboxed frame. Code in that frame cannot see the parent page's URL or navigation, so a snippet placed there does not give you reliable page views.
If your site is on the builder, the two GoDaddy paths above both support the full install: Managed WordPress and cPanel or VPS hosting. If you would rather not move, contact us and we will look at your setup with you.
